NBC4 Story Celebrates Sister Mary Bader and St. Ann's Center

Breaking News!  NBC4 Washington ran a #GivingTuesday story highlighting Sister Mary Bader's impact during her 18 years as CEO of St. Ann's Center. But as Sister Mary always says, the focus is not her leadership - but rather the team and the community who have powered St. Ann's mission ever since our founding in 1860.

Support the Families of St. Ann's Center and "Give Your Cup" this #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday is a wonderful way to kick off the giving season! This #GivingTuesday, we ask you to join us and "Give Your Cup" of coffee, tea, or any other "cup" for one day ($6), one week ($30), one month ($120), one day a week for a year ($312), or any amount in-between to support St. Ann's families. | Click HERE to learn more.

  • In 2021, 31 families (including 35 children) found a home in St. Ann's Center's supportive and transitional housing programs.

  • In 2021, 12 families successfully transitioned from St. Ann’s Center to safe, permanent housing.

  • In 2021, 94% of mothers in St. Ann’s parenting classes achieved satisfactory or improved parenting skills.

  • In 2021, 53 children were served in our Child Care Center. 20 children were enrolled in the Early Head Start program.

  • In 2021, 93% of eligible mothers at St. Ann's Center successfully secured employment.

  • In 2021, 1,018 children and adults in the community received much-needed food, baby items, and other supplies through St. Ann's Outreach Program and material assistance programs.
